All Schools Transitioning to Remote

All Huntsville City Schools will transition to remote learning beginning Monday, Jan. 24 through Friday, Jan. 28. Students will return to campus on Monday, Jan. 31. HCS is joining school systems across North Alabama in transitioning to remote learning due to the impacts of COVID-19 and staffing availability. Mr. Mark Fleetwood

Mr. Mark Fleetwood is in his first year at Huntsville High as Dean of Students. Mr. Fleetwood is entering his 32nd year in the teaching & coaching profession. He comes to Huntsville High from Peachtree Ridge High School in Suwanee, Ga. Mr. Fleetwood grew up in Decatur, Ga. He attended the University of South Carolina and Jacksonville State University. He is married to former Kimberly Gilmore of Eufaula, Alabama and they have a daughter, Irelan, who is a senior at Huntsville High.
