Sra. Rachel Tommy

¡Hola! I am so excited to be teaching Spanish 1 and ESOL at Huntsville High School! I am a native of West Michigan, and my family recently moved to Huntsville. My husband coaches Men's Basketball at Alabama A & M University and I have a 4-year-old son, Jet.
When I'm not at school, you will probably find me at home, spending time with my family or perhaps doing some crafting or cross stitching, or outside enjoying the beautiful Alabama weather.

I have had a variety of experiences in my professional history, including school support staff, retail, and nonprofit administration. I began teaching Spanish in 2020, and I am happy to say that I have never felt more satisfied and fulfilled in a job as I do now. I value each and every one of my students, and I love teaching them about Spanish language and culture.
