State HOSA Awards Announced

HOSA is a group designed to empower HOSA-Future Health Professionals to become leaders in the global health community through education, collaboration, and experience.  Each year they host state and national competitions in these areas.  This year's Huntsville High School's club competed in the state competition recently and won numerous awards. 

HHS HOSA won the club Pin Design contest, was awareded the state's Outstanding Chapter and competed and won the Team Scavenger Hunt.  Individual performances include:

  • Savanna Fuchsberger: 6th, Nutrition
  • Lauren Turner:  6th, Transcultural Health Care
  • Sarah Speer:  6th, Medical Spelling
  • Will Johnson:  6th, Biomedical Laboratory Science
  • Laci Turner:  First, Medical Reading
  • Emily Dunaway, Judson Ennis, 10th, Health Care Issues Exam
