All Schools Transitioning to Remote

All Huntsville City Schools will transition to remote learning beginning Monday, Jan. 24 through Friday, Jan. 28. Students will return to campus on Monday, Jan. 31. HCS is joining school systems across North Alabama in transitioning to remote learning due to the impacts of COVID-19 and staffing availability. StellarXplorers is a STEM competition team. It provides students an exciting, hands-on learning experience, developing knowledge and skills that are essential to expanding space corporations. It Increases appreciation for the vital and expanding roles space systems play in our daily lives. It forges a pathway to challenging and exciting career opportunities. It provides a hands-on, high school, space design challenge involving all aspects of space systems development and operation with a spacecraft and its payloads. The StellarXplorers program is to inspire and motivate high school students and their educators to pursue studies and careers in STEM through a challenging, space system design competition. It promotes space industry internships and scholarship opportunities to program members.

How to Join / Membership Requirements: 
The team meets every Friday during Power Hour on Fridays and after school from 3:20 - 4:30 in room 135
