First Day of School

Monday, August 17 is the first day of school for the 2020-21 term.  Students enrolled in the Traditional Learning Framework will begin the 1st 9 weeks in Remote Learning due to the current COVID-19 health situation.  For information about what that will look like this year, please click the more information button below to view the Reset Plan Information Hub.

Summer McClung

I grew up right outside of Birmingham, Alabama in Trussville. I met my husband while in school at the University of Alabama. We moved to Huntsville and I have been here since that time. I have three children who keep me very busy with their sports and activities, and I love every minute of it! We have a Great Dane named Hank, and a cat named Oreo. I took 11 years off from teaching while my children were young, and am thrilled to be back in the classroom. I enjoy helping students find their potential, and to see the importance of receiving an education. Everyone deserves an opportunity to be successful, and I hope I can contribute to my students' success in life in some small way.
