Mrs. Lynsie Lamitie

I am excited to join the Jemison family this year as a curriculum specialist! I've spent most of my teaching career at Chapman P8, which is also in Huntsville City Schools. In my free time, I like to watch and read science fiction, play sports, swim, and work on arts and crafts projects with my friends and family.

This is my 8th year as a teacher in Huntsville City, and my first year as a curriculum specialist. As a Title I curriculum specialist, I work with teachers in an instructional coaching capacity to make sure they have the training and resources needed to move our students toward (and beyond) grade level proficiency. I will also work to develop and implement our school's continuous improvement plan.
