Blended Learning & Spring Break Feeding

All Huntsville City Schools remain closed through April 3rd.  Beginning Monday, April 6th, Huntsville City Schools will begin implementation of a Blended Learning Plan.  The Rock Worship Center & The Dream Center, in partnership with The Manna House, will be continuing curbside meal distribution during spring break.  We are grateful for the support of our community!  For more information about the blended learning plan, academic enrichment activities, and spring break feeding sites, please use the More Information button below to visit the Coronavirus & Crisis Contingency Plan page.

Carol Lawrence

I am a native of Huntsville and attended Whitesburg Elementary and Middle School and then graduated from Grissom High. Upon graduation from Auburn University, I moved back to Huntsville. I enjoy traveling and have been fortunate enough to have visited many foreign countries including Panama, Colombia,Ecudor, Peru, Chili, Canada, Mexico, France, Italy, Great Britian and Ireland.

I have worked in the Huntsville City Schools for the past 26 years. I taught 6th grade at Westlawn Middle School for six years and then transferred to Huntsville Middle School. I was at HMS for the past 16 years. For all 22 years I have taught Social Studies. In addition to that, for the past 12 years, I have also taught honors reading.
