Time for Library Cards

We have a wonderful library at Jones Valley, and Mrs. Woo and Mrs. Riopka work really hard to keep it full of books to interest all kinds of readers.  We also have a great community of public libraries in Huntsville and Madison County.

How much do you know about your public library and hat they have to offer?  Did you know you can check out videos, and magazines, use the computers to do homework and research or surf the web, reserve a quiet study room and get a project 3D printed.

Mrs. Lampton’s classes are celebrating Library Card month in September by encouraging everyone to get a library card. We’re hoping to sign some new card holders up and get them hitting the books.  And do you know the the coolest part of having a library card?  You can choose books, put books on hold, renew books and stream movies, listen to audio books and read ebooks without leaving your home.  During September you can even get a library card from home.  Check out the Huntsville Public Library for more information.
