World War II Escape Room
Sixth grade students participated in an Escape Room Activity hosted by Mrs. Woo in the Library Thursday, January 29th. The scenario challenged students to find the code to the safe that held Anne Frank's diary. By visiting 4 stations around the Library, students learned that horrific amount of people who died, the thirty countries that were involved in the conflict, the number of bombs dropped and the starting statistic that 67% of all deaths were civilians or non-military. Most all students were able to "escape" and claim that honor with photo evidence posted outside the Library.
