After four years as a general education teacher at Lakewood Elementary, I took the leap over to Gifted Education in 2018. I am enjoying this new adventure! I am currently attending Samford University to get my Master's in Gifted Education. When I am not learning about or educating the 'gifted and talented mind', I am MOM! My husband, Joe, and I have two boys. Caiden, 16, plays baseball for his school; Myles, 11, plays basketball. They keep us very busy and teach us a lot about patience, time management, and keeping up with current trends and activities.
Please contact me to make any referrals to the Gifted program here at LES.

I have been in the general education classroom for 4 years and this year the opportunity arose for me to teach G.A.T.E. (Gifted and Talented Education) at Lakewood. This requires me to have a Masters in Gifted Education so after 10 years, I am going back to college!
