Greetings from Lakewood Elementary . I am honored and blessed to be the Assistant Principal. This is my fourth year at Lakewood but my 22nd year in education.

I started with HCS in 1998 at Highlands Elementary where I taught 3rd and 5th grade. I taught Reading and Social Studies at Ed White Middle School. I relocated to Baltimore, MD where I was a Reading Specialist and an Asssistant Principal. Upon moving back to Huntsville I worked at Sequel Youth and Family Service (Three Springs) for 4 years as Director of Education. I was blessed to get hired back with HCS in 201 where I was the Parent Coordinator at Dawson Eemntary. In Fall of 2015, I started working at Monte Santo Elementary School where I taught Reading and Science. I received my Bachelors and Masters of Education from Alabama A&M University. In addition, I received my certification in Educational Leadership from University of Alabama in Birmingham. Completed all coursework towards my ED. Specialist Degree (ABT)
