Greetings from Lakewood Elementary . I am honored and blessed to be named the Assistant Principal.This is my first year at Lakewood but my 19th year in education. It is my hope, dream, and desire to work in the area of school leadership, federal programs, or pupil services.

I started with HCS in 1998 at Highlands Elementary where I taught 3rd and 5th grade. I taught Reading and Social Studies at Ed White Middle School. I relocated to Baltimore, MD where I was a Reading Specialist and an Asssistant Principal. Upon moving back to Huntsville I worked at Sequel Youth and Family Service (Three Springs) for 4 years as Director of Education. I was blessed to get hired back with HCS in 2013. I received my Bachelor's and Master's of Education from Alabama A&M University. In addition, I received my certification in Educational Leadership from University of Alabama in Birmingham. Completed all coursework towards my ED. Specialist Degree (ABT)
