Weather Notice

Due to the potential for icy road conditions, Huntsville City Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. The two-hour delay will also apply to all HCS employees, unless otherwise directed by your supervisor.  All elementary, middle, and junior high classes will begin at 10:00am.  All high school classes will begin at 10:30am.  Buses will also run on a two-hour delayed schedule. 

 

Huntsville City Schools Weather Safety Team, working in conjunction with the EMA and other local agencies, will continue to monitor conditions and send out updates should any additional changes be necessary.  For more information about the weather safety decision process, please select the more information link below.

Curtis Coleman

I am originally from Tuscaloosa Alabama. I have been in Huntsville since 1991 after being discharged from the United States Marine Corps and serving in Operation Desert Storm. I have been teaching for 24 years in Huntsville City. This is my firth year and Lee High School and was at Butler High School 19 years prior. I have two daughters, Joccelyn and Victoria.
