Greetings FamiLee, My name is Donna Peavy and I am the Co-chair of the special education department at Lee High School. I am originally from Chicago, IL and have lived in the Huntsville area for the past 18 years. I began my employment with Huntsville City Schools in 2001 as support worker in the cafeteria at Stone Middle School. As I was working toward earning my degree, I also worked as an assistant in the special education classroom at the Seldon Center. Upon earning my teaching certificate, I began teaching at Lee High School where I have remained for the past 13 years. My purpose for teaching is to ensure that every student has access to a quality education, mentoring, and support. My goal for the school year is to affect change in every student I encounter!
