Weather Notice

Due to the potential for icy road conditions, Huntsville City Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. The two-hour delay will also apply to all HCS employees, unless otherwise directed by your supervisor.  All elementary, middle, and junior high classes will begin at 10:00am.  All high school classes will begin at 10:30am.  Buses will also run on a two-hour delayed schedule. 

 

Huntsville City Schools Weather Safety Team, working in conjunction with the EMA and other local agencies, will continue to monitor conditions and send out updates should any additional changes be necessary.  For more information about the weather safety decision process, please select the more information link below.

Jessica Patmon-Johnson

Jessica Johnson is an artist and educator. She started her teaching career in 2011 at Huntsville High School. She is a working artist and her artwork has been displayed in several galleries and museums in the Southeast. Fun fact: Johnson is a skater for Huntsville’s flat track roller derby team, The Dixie Derby Girls and is also on Team Alabama’s Roller Derby Team.
