First Day of School

Monday, August 17 is the first day of school for the 2020-21 term.  Students enrolled in the Traditional Learning Framework will begin the 1st 9 weeks in Remote Learning due to the current COVID-19 health situation.  For information about what that will look like this year, please click the more information button below to view the Reset Plan Information Hub.

Jessica Patmon-Johnson

Jessica Johnson is an artist and educator. She began her teaching career in 2011 with Huntsville City School System. She is a practicing artist and her artwork has been displayed around Southeast. Mrs. Johnson is a member of Alabama Women’s Caucus for Art and co-captain of Huntsville’s flat track roller derby team, The Dixie Derby Girls. She is an advocate for the arts and is passionate about helping others developed a love and appreciation for art.

B.S. in Studio Art with a minor in Secondary Education; University of Alabama at Birmingham
M.A. in Art Education, University of Alabama at Birmingham
Class A, Elementary-Secondary Visual Arts Education
She has experience teaching Art I, Drawing I/II, Photo I/II, Painting I/II, AP Studio Art 2-D design, AP Drawing, Ceramic I/II, Magnet II and Magnet IV.
