I am from Huntsville, AL. I attended Huntsville High School and then went on to Auburn University. I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Auburn University and followed it by earning a Masters of Science degree in Secondary English Language Arts Education. After graduating from Auburn, I moved back to Huntsville to teach. I started my career at Butler High School in 2012 and moved to Lee for the 2015-2016 school year. I completed my degree in Instructional Leadership at Samford University in 2017.I loved teaching English, but I am so excited to make the jump to administration. I have a background in and a passion for the arts. I look forward to working with Lee's Magnet Programs and helping them grow and diversify. In my free time, I enjoy reading and watching movies with my family and friends. I am a huge fan of Historical Fiction and have been reading a lot of Latin American fiction lately. I look forward to assisting Mrs. Jobe, Mrs. Torain, and Mr. Woods in leading our school and magnet program. I am excited to bring my experiences with the arts to my leadership at Lee High School.
