Stephanie Goglin

I'm an Air Force Brat but have been in Huntsville since 3rd grade, when my dad retired. I went to Davis Hills Elementary & Middle and graduated from Johnson High School. After a year at Auburn, I came home to attend UAH, where I graduated with a degree in mathematics and a secondary teaching certificate. I have taught math, grades 7-9, for 11 years (Hewitt-Trussville Jr. High, 4 years; Liberty Middle 7 years). I attended UNA for my masters in school counseling and have been a school counselor for 11 years (Liberty Middle, 7 years; Sparkman 9, 3 years; Lee High, 2 years). This is my 23rd year in education! In my spare time, I enjoy reading, soaking up the sun, watching my niece cheer, and spending time with my only child, a 4-legged pitbull mix named Tiki; my 11-year-old niece, her parents and mine; and my friends. There isn't much free time during the school year, but I love helping the students at Lee High School and have felt comfortable at this school from the minute I walked in the door.
