Tony Woods

My name is Tony Woods, and I am honored to have been selected as the principal of Lee High School. As the new principal, it is with great excitement and enthusiam that I welcome you to the 2018-2019 school year. I am a native of Thomasville, AL but I have been in the Huntsville area for 20 years. I played football for the University of Arkansas. I finished my undergraduate studies at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University while obtaining my master’s from the University of Phoenix. This is my 16th year in education, 7th at Lee, and 20th overall working with children. I also worked with the Department of Youth Services for 5 years as a youth counselor supervisor. I am excited to serve as the principal at Lee High School this year and beyond. As the principal, I am afforded the opportunity to foster the entire educational process. My wife Gwen and I have three children, Kirstine, Jarvis, and Jonathan. After pulling for the Generals during the week, I call those “HOGS” and yell “How bout them Cowboys" on the weekend.
