I am a Huntsville native and a member of the J.O. Johnson class of 1980. I attended Alabama A&M University and obtained a B.S and M.S. degree. I have taught at Lee High School for 17 years. Prior to teaching high school, I worked for Girls Incorporated of Huntsville and planned and implemented community based programs for teen mothers and other girls. I enjoy gardening, fashion designing, writing and reading Christian books and articles. My parents live here in Huntsville and I see them 2-3 times per week. I have a 12 year old daughter who enjoys dancing and gymnastics. Teaching is an opportunity to impart lifelong learning skills and to help grow a young adult. I enjoy teaching with my FamiLee. Here at Lee I am the club adviser for FCCLA and the Fashion Club. Keep an eye out for the new Fashion pathway of classes in HCS!
