Red Ribbon Week

Date:
Monday, October 23, 2017 (All day) to Friday, October 27, 2017 (All day)

Red Ribbon Week was developed in 1988 to promote an awareness of the dangers of drugs and alcohol.  This special week was developed to honor the memory of Enrique Camarena.  During this week of October 23rd - 27th, we will have special activities to educate our students on the damages of drugs and the importance of making positive choices.

Monday: "Hats Off To Being Drug Free"   Wear your favorite hat!

Tuesday: "Sock It To Drugs"  Wear a pair of crazy or mismatched socks!

Wednesday: "You Are Too Bright For Drugs"  Wear neon (bright) colors and/or sunglasses to show that you are too smart to use drugs!

Thursday: "Follow Your Dreams, Don't Use Drugs"  Wear your favorite pajamas to show everyone that you will not let drugs keep you from achieving your dreams!

Friday: "Proud To Be Drug Free"  Wear red to show that you pledge to be Drug Free!
