All Schools Transitioning to Remote

All Huntsville City Schools will transition to remote learning beginning Monday, Jan. 24 through Friday, Jan. 28. Students will return to campus on Monday, Jan. 31. HCS is joining school systems across North Alabama in transitioning to remote learning due to the impacts of COVID-19 and staffing availability. It is my pleasure to serve as the Assistant Principal of Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School. I am a native of Gadsden, Alabama. I am married to Stacy Lundy-Calloway, and we have a beautiful daughter named Zoie. I enjoy all sports and spending quality time with my family and friends. I enjoy reading. My favorite author is John Grisham, and I enjoy reading educational magazines.

I started my career at University Place Elementary School in 1997 as a third-grade teacher and later moved to fifth grade. During my tenure in Huntsville City Schools, I have worked at several schools throughout the system, and I have enjoyed every moment serving as a teacher and school leader.
