Spelling Bee 2018

McDonnell Spelling Bee is in the books for this year!  Grade levels 1st-5th participated and we went a whopping 17 rounds before we could name a winner! Ms Leah Edgecomb called off the words with judges Stephen Miller and Susan Byrd making the final decisions.  The student population and parents were in attendance to support their child and grade level in the competition.  Ms Kassandra Vega was declared the winner and Ms Ceneyah Nolen, both of 5th grade, was the runner up.  Kassandra will represent McDonnell at the district level Spelling Bee.  Congratulations to all our participants!
