August 28 Message from the Principal

Hello Monte Sano Families!

A big shout out to Rob Segrest.  Dr. Segrest cleaned the fence to our playground! It looks great and we appreciate all of your hard work.  Parents truly are cooler on the mountain!

Homemade Food Items:

  • School employees, parents, and guardians are not permitted to send homemade snacks or food to school for student distribution.  Only store-bought items that have not been opened will be permitted for distribution to students.  Also, please let us know of any food allergies you child may have.

Huntsville High School Homecoming Parade:

  • Monte Sano has been asked to take part in the HHS Homecoming Parade on September 27th.  Our plan is to have students decorate wagons.  The students will pull and walk along side the wagons.  Every student must have a parent that will walk with them.  Please let us know if your family has a wagon that can be used or if you would like to take part in the decorating.  Help us support Huntsville High School.

Wednesday folders have arrived! Please be sure to check Wednesday folders for important papers.

We will be honoring all Grandparents on September 6th.  Please remember to send in the reservation sheet, so we can plan for our grandparents.

Progress Reports will go home September 4th!

Thank you for allowing us the privilege of serving your children and remember “learning is always cooler on the mountain.”

Sharon Driggers, Principal
