Weather Notice

Due to the potential for icy road conditions, Huntsville City Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. The two-hour delay will also apply to all HCS employees, unless otherwise directed by your supervisor.  All elementary, middle, and junior high classes will begin at 10:00am.  All high school classes will begin at 10:30am.  Buses will also run on a two-hour delayed schedule. 


Huntsville City Schools Weather Safety Team, working in conjunction with the EMA and other local agencies, will continue to monitor conditions and send out updates should any additional changes be necessary.  For more information about the weather safety decision process, please select the more information link below.

Rebecca Campbell

My name is Rebecca Campbell and I am the Gifted and Talented Education Teacher at Monte Sano Elementary School. I am originally from Huntsville, Alabama and love living in this wonderful growing city with my family! My husband and I have been married thirteen years and have two boys that are four and nine years old. I received an undergraduate degree in the Elementary Education: Multiple Abilities Program and a masters in Special Education specializing in Gifted and Talented Education from the University of Alabama. Roll Tide Roll! As a gifted teacher, I look forward to exploring many exciting and unusual ideas from our students while challenging them to reach their potential and utilize their talents to achieve academic success!
