Hi! I am Diana Harrison, and I have been teaching for 12 years -- all of which have been at Providence Elementary School! When the school opened in August 2005, I was hired as a first grade teacher . The following year, I taught second grade and enjoyed that age group so much that I taught second graders for 8 years. In 2014, I became the school's Alabama Reading Initiative (ARI) Reading Coach. Although they renamed the position this year to ARI Reading Specialist, I will continue to have the opportunity to enjoy working more closely with and assisting all K-3rd grade students, their parents, 40 classroom teachers, and the administrative team.
