My name is Erin Griffith, and I am thrilled to be a part of the Montview family. I am a native of Seattle, Washington, and moved to Huntsville in January 2016. I have three grown children and a husband of over 27 years. We have a King Charles Spaniel named Winston and two cats. I enjoy volunteering with animal groups, working specifically with cats (which are my favorite animals). I am addicted to Coke Zero, am a total sci-fi/fantasy nerd, and love books of all types. However, my favorite thing is to spend time with my family. Even though teaching is my second career, I have always had a passion for learning and teaching. I adore watching students grow, especially in reading and English Language Arts, and being a facilitator for their education. I believe one of our jobs as educators is to not only create critical thinkers but also to create lifelong learners.
