I am thrilled to be part of the Montview family. Our school is a warm and welcoming place for every child and every adult who wants to grow and learn, and I am looking forward to opening the door to a new and magical year of teaching and learning together!

I have four daughters, two of whom are teachers also. My younger two daughters are college students: Morgan at Auburn University and Madison at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. I enjoy playing the piano, reading, cooking, spending time with Piper, my black and white Havanese dog, and traveling. This past summer I was able to travel to Europe. It was wonderful to experience the warmth and culture that we all share.

I joined the Montview leadership team in 2017, after 22 years of teaching. My first 8 years were spent as a kindergarten teacher in Morgan County schools. After a seven year break spent at home with children, I returned to teach at Mountain Gap Elementary in Huntsville City. I enjoyed teaching first grade there for 10 years before obtaining an Educational Leadership certification and becoming an administrator. I came to Montview from Providence Elementary, where I spent four years as an Assistant Principal.
