Meet the 2020-2021 Montview Student Government Association Officers!

Hi! My name is Myasia Childress. I am the Montview Elementary School SGA president. I am an ambitious and dedicated student who works hard to provide a valuable voice for the students at Montview. I have worked on many projects to bond the students together during this tough time. One project that I am proud of is the “Buddy Bench.” The Buddy Bench is a safe place where students can come together to talk about their emotions and make new friends.

Greetings! My name is Trinity Sanders. I am the SGA vice-president at Montview Elementary School. I am Myasia’s “right-hand girl”. As elected leaders, we recognize the challenges students face at school and at home. That is why we are dedicated to creating a school environment that improves the welfare of every student at Montview. We do that by listening with compassion and empathy to the voices of the students. That way, we can serve with a purpose.

Hola! My name is Rachel Chavez. I am the SGA secretary at Montview Elementary School. I love learning about the inner workings of our amazing campus, and how we, as a student body, can improve our campus. I solicit the students and staff for their creative ideas to help me make the school the most inclusive, student-friendly school in the district.

Saludos! My name is Luis Francisco. I am the SGA treasurer at Montview Elementary School. I joined SGA to develop my leadership skills and to be a voice for the minority students at Montview, like me. I enjoy working with the members of the SGA. We work to make a difference and create a positive school environment. For example, we encouraged the PBIS committee to play more diverse music during schoolwide celebrations that represent all ethnic groups.
