All Schools Transitioning to Remote

All Huntsville City Schools will transition to remote learning beginning Monday, Jan. 24 through Friday, Jan. 28. Students will return to campus on Monday, Jan. 31. HCS is joining school systems across North Alabama in transitioning to remote learning due to the impacts of COVID-19 and staffing availability. Vanessa Pair

My name is Vanessa Michelle Pair and I am from Mobile, Alabama. I am the youngest of 5 children born to Cleopha and Barbara Pair. I love to travel with my family and friends and do so on a yearly basis. I love teaching and believe that it is what I am destined to do.
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education, Alabama A&M University
Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in Technology, Grand Canyon University

My teaching experience began with Community Action Agency in the Headstart Program. I taught in this capacity for 5 years. I started teaching in the Huntsville City School system in October 1999 at Rolling Hills Elementary School, and stayed there until 2012. While there, I taught 5th, 4th and 3rd grades. I moved to Montview Elementary School in the Fall of 2012. I've taught 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades.
