Ms. Sharmecka Hill

It’s a great day to be an Eagle! I am a proud Morris Middle School Eagle who happens to teach 7th grade science! My name is Ms. Sharmecka Hill, and I’m a native of Detroit, Michigan. I migrated down to the south to attend college in 2005, and I have been here in Huntsville ever since. I would not trade being here for anything in the world.

I am blessed to be here and have the opportunity to work at Morris. Thereby, I have well over a hundred students that I call my precious babies, because they are valuable beyond compare. I enjoy teaching them about life science and life in general. Outside of my love for teaching, I love Jesus!!! I enjoy reading the Bible, attending Church service, giving back to the community, painting, singing and watching Jeopardy. Yes, Jeopardy! I am fun, firm and faithful to who I am and what I do. I like to learn, and I I like to teach. Hey, that’s me!

I was blessed to work for the Huntsville City Schools District as a substitute teacher for four years, then as a parent educator at Westlawn Middle School for one year. Thereafter, my first year as a science teacher was also at Westlawn Middle School, however, the school closed. I was blessed to be transferred over to Morris, and I have been the seventh grade science teacher for three years now.
