Jennifer Palmer

Jennifer Palmer is thrilled to join the Mountain Gap community from the mountains of Colorado Springs, from where she relocated just this July! She loves teaching and learning alongside her students, especially when brains "get out of breath" from deep critical thinking. Mrs. Palmer is a passionate advocate for both the academic and social-emotional needs of gifted and high-potential students, and is honored to partner with students, teachers, and parents to ensure growth.

Mrs. Palmer can be counted on to vie for Longest Road in the board game Catan, and to know (almost) all the lyrics in the show 'Hamilton, the Musical.' She looks forward to exploring the natural beauty of the Huntsville area with her family- husband Brett, and daughters Elizabeth, freshman at Cornell College (IA), and Sarah Rei, freshman at Grissom. You'll find their excitable black lab, Ruby, trying in earnest to lead the way.
