Kathy and her husband Al have lived in Huntsville for 30 years. Both grew up in Mississippi and met through the band at Mississippi State. A job with a local computer company brought them to Huntsville. They have four children who attended and graduated from Huntsville City Schools. All four earned advanced degrees from Mississippi State. Their four granddaughters and one grandson keep them busy traveling for visits whenever possible. They enjoy watching all MSU sporting events and follow the Titans, the Broncos, the Cowboys and Braves. Both are very active at church. Al sings in the chancel choir and men's choir while Kathy plays handbells, sings in the chancel choir, plays her flute for worship, and directs the women's ensemble. They have been married for 41 years this October, 2016. Kathy has been teaching for HCS for 19 years.
