Technology Update

On Friday, Mrs. Clark received two updates that should resolve the issues students and teachers were having with laptops last week.  Anyone still having issues should take their laptop to Mrs. Clark so she can run the patches.

Seniors Interested in Speaking or Singing at Graduation

Graduation is just around the corner!  If you are a senior at NCTHS and are interested in speaking at graduation, please submit a speech to Mrs. Savage-Owens via Schoology or HCS email no later than April 15. Speeches should be approximately three minutes long and should reflect upon your positive experiences at NCHTS and/or your vision for the future and how NCTHS has prepared you for it. Two speeches will be selected for graduation. If you would like to sing the National Anthem at graduation, Mrs. Savage-Owens will conduct auditions during Zero Period on April 14 or after school by appointment. To be eligible to speak or sing at graduation, seniors must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

The Info session will be held in Microsoft Teams and will begin at 5:00 p.m.  Participants can access the session by requesting a link from their teachers.

Attendance Note

COVID absences do not count against a student’s attendance. If a student is unable to attend class due to COVID concerns (such as exhibiting COVID symptoms or being excluded), please email Ms. Lightfoot to let her know so attendance can be marked appropriately.  All classwork will be posted in Schoology so students can keep up with their schoolwork. Please send all notes for absences and check-outs to Mrs. Lightfoot.
