New Century Students Enjoy First Week of Clubs

New Century clubs are finally underway, and the first week has been a success! After several hard weeks of iReady testing, students are finally able to sign up for clubs and other fun activities during Zero Hour. Students have a variety of options to choose from. Some participate in academic and service-oriented clubs like National Honor Society (Thursdays with Mrs. Smith) and Beta Club (Tuesdays with Coach Pate). Other students favor more recreational activities. Dungeons & Dragons (Thursday with Mr. Agnew), Board Game Club (Wednesdays with Mr. Lukacovic) and Video Game Club (in the media center on Fridays) are popular clubs every week, and spots in these activities are always filled quickly. Students who are looking for a calm, quiet environment can settle in to read during Ms. Cotton’s Book Club on Thursday.

To attend a club, students need to sign up each week during advisory. A link to sign up will be provided by advisory teachers on Mondays. There’s truly something for everyone, so take a look at what New Century has to offer and expand your school experience!
