Avery Murphree

My name is Avery Murphree and I am the Gifted Specialist at Providence Elementary. This is my fourth year teaching GATE and my eighth year of teaching in all. I’ve lived in Huntsville most of my life and I’m proud to call the Rocket City home. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 14 years, and we have two sons, ages 9 and 6. I love cooking, reading, going to the beach, and teaching GATE. I strive to create a creative, safe, and inviting space for gifted students to explore and expand their diverse talents.
