First Day of School

Monday, August 17 is the first day of school for the 2020-21 term.  Students enrolled in the Traditional Learning Framework will begin the 1st 9 weeks in Remote Learning due to the current COVID-19 health situation.  For information about what that will look like this year, please click the more information button below to view the Reset Plan Information Hub.

Cassandra Cook

I grew up in Somerville, Alabama. I graduated from AP Brewer High school in 2000. I joined the US Army Reserves and served for 8 years, I received the rank of First Lieutenant before getting out to focus on my teaching career. My husband Doug and I have been married for almost 14 years and have a brilliant 9 year old named Nicholas. When I'm not at school I enjoy reading, traveling, and watching Alabama football, Roll Tide Roll!!!

I am so excited to be a Providence Pirate.I have taught in public school in Mobile and private schools here in Huntsville, AL as well as overseas in Kuwait. I have taught grades PreK, Kindergarten, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. I look forward to a new and exciting year.
