Kindergarten Celebrates the 50th Day of School

On Friday, October 18, 2019, Kindergarten celebrated the 50th day of school by dressing up like kids did in the 1950’s. The teachers connected our IB unit, “Where We Are in Place and Time” with learning about the past. Students got to experience hands-on learning and fun by doing things that kids did in the 1950’s. Some things that students got to do was… have a Sock Hop, use chalk boards, play with Mr. Potato Head, play with Lincoln Logs, play with hula hoops and drink rootbeer floats. Students will get to write about their experiences.
