Teaching has been a desire of mine for several years. Going into college, my dream was to open a 24-hour daycare because I love children. As I started the program, I realized that wasn't the age group that I loved because I couldn't make the difference that I wanted to. My goal everyday coming into the classroom is that I can make a difference in just one child's life and show love to all of my students. A quote that I like to go by is, "They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel." I grew up in Jasper, Alabama and went on to Jacksonville State University immediately after high school. I marched with the Southerners for three years and had the opportunity of a lifetime to go to Hawaii and play for the 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor! I am married and have three cats at home. In my free time I like to use my silhouette to make shirts. I also enjoy watching Netflix, traveling, and shopping. My favorite educational quote is, "The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you." I am looking forward to another wonderful year with the Providence Pirates!
