Ms. Wendy Wallace

My name is Wendy Wallace. I am a native of Decatur, AL and a graduate of Decatur High School where I played volleyball, basketball, track and song in chorus. I went on to play volleyball and basketball on a academic/athletic scholarship at Alabama A&M University. I am the baby of ten. I have six sisters and three brothers. I currently reside in Madison, AL. I am a mother of a beautiful daughter name Myra Wallace. She is a Junior at Bob Jones High school where she plays basketball, volleyball, a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and National Honor Society. This is my 5th year at Providence Elementary where my first three years, I was one of the P.E. Aides which this is my 2nd year as a Physical Education Teacher. I previously taught Physical Education at Ed White Middle School and Instructional Behavior Aide at Johnson and Butler High School for several years. I have coached basketball, volleyball and track on the middle and high school level for Huntsville City Schools. Currently, I officiate volleyball and basketball on the middle school, high school and AAU level for the past 18 years. I have a passion for being an educator who loves to teach children how to be active while striving to become productive citizens throughout the society. I am glad to be a pirate staff member for Providence Elementary School and looking forward to working with each student while providing a fabulous, fun and safe P.E. environment at Providence Elementary School each year.
