First Day of School

Monday, August 17 is the first day of school for the 2020-21 term.  Students enrolled in the Traditional Learning Framework will begin the 1st 9 weeks in Remote Learning due to the current COVID-19 health situation.  For information about what that will look like this year, please click the more information button below to view the Reset Plan Information Hub.

Student Council

The purpose of the Student Council at Providence Elementary is to promote leadership. Student Council will allow students to work together as responsible leaders in the school community. Student Council gives students an opportunity to learn about the democratic process and leadership. Student Council allows students to be the voice for their peers and find the concerns of the student body.

How to Join / Membership Requirements: 
1. Students will receive a packet with information regarding interest.
2. Students will be prompted to write an essay stating which position they would like to run for and why.
3. Students will submit their essay and interest in to Mr.Ray.
4. Students selected will campaign to the student body.
5. Providence Elementary will then hold a voting poll for Grade 3-5 students. Each student will fill out a voting ballot (private or online).

Principled behavior throughout the academic school year
Excellent grades throughout the academic school year
