First Day of School

Monday, August 17 is the first day of school for the 2020-21 term.  Students enrolled in the Traditional Learning Framework will begin the 1st 9 weeks in Remote Learning due to the current COVID-19 health situation.  For information about what that will look like this year, please click the more information button below to view the Reset Plan Information Hub.

Amanda Dodson

Hello 2nd grade students and parents! My name is Amanda Dodson. I have recently joined the Ridgecrest family after living in Oklahoma for three years, before that, living in Hawaii, and several other different places. I am a military spouse and have one daughter who also attends Ridgecrest. I have been in education for 8 years, with my last teaching position being that of the 5th grade. I am ready for this new experience and can't wait to meet everyone. I am originally from Texas, I am not a Cowboys fan but definitely a Longhorns fan! 'Hook 'em!" I love spending time with my family, traveling, riding bikes and most importantly just being together. I am ready for a great year of learning and overcoming any obstacles that may try and get in our way. We are family and look forward to helping you grow!
