I am originally from Montgomery, Alabama. I moved to Auburn for college and then lived in Puebla, Mexico, for 1 year. After living in Mexico, I moved to Huntsville, Alabama. My husband and I love living in Huntsville. We have three children named Emma, Evey and Rhett.

Before teaching at Ridgecrest Elementary School with Huntsville City Schools, I taught English at a bilingual school in Puebla, Mexico. I began working for Huntsville City Schools in Pre-K.
