Behavior Specialist Prevention

Graduate of J. S. Abrams High School, Bessemer, AL. Received athletic scholarship to Alcorn State, Lorman, MS. Made it to the NAACP semi-finals of 1980. Played over 160 games in 4 years, having only 7 defeats. In 1981, I started with New York State Office of Children and Family Services. I started out as a correctional officer, and retired as a Superintendent. One of my most famous clients was ex-heavyweight boxing champion, Mike Tyson, at 15 years old. Retired 2013. Returned to my home state of Alabama in 2015. Worked as a property manager with Huntsville Housing. The Old Mason Court was my work site. Not only did I work there, I chose to live on grounds, which was very unusual. I wanted to understand the people, and get a feel of what is was like to live in government housing in this day and age.

I am now with Rolling Hills Elementary, and I know this is where God has placed me, working with a large group of individuals who love working with children, which is why I am here. I like to be part of the change agent.
