I earned my B.S from the University of Southern Mississippi with concentrations in Reading and Science. I was born in Detroit, Michigan, but have had the pleasure to experience living in several states in my life. I have been married for 21 years and have three wonderful sons. We are happy to make Alabama our home.

This is my twelfth year in the teaching profession and my ninth year at Whitesburg . I have taught three years of 3rd grade (Tucson, AZ), one year of 6th grade (Whitesburg P-8), and this will be my eighth year teaching 5th grade at Whitesburg . This is my fifth year as the Elementary Greenpower Coach at Whitesburg.
