Hanna Scites

Mrs. Hanna Scites graduated with highest honors from the University of North Alabama with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She performed field experiences teaching kindergarten at McDonnell Elementary School, first grade at Webster Elementary School, and fourth grade at Kilby Laboratory School. She is excited to be a part of the J. E. Williams Elementary community and especially to be a part of the fabulous third grade team here. She looks forward to helping students rise to meet the challenges of this school year and preparing them to continue to be successful throughout life by encouraging them to be all they can be as learners. Mrs. Scites believes that students deserve respect and she values the diversity to be found in what each child brings to the classroom.

Her home town is Toney, Alabama where she lives with her family. She enjoys traveling with friends and family and bringing her experiences back to the classroom to share with her students. Some of her other interests include sewing clothing, cooking, reading, camping, and teaching! She looks forward to a wonderful year teaching and learning at J.E. Williams.
