Valerie Knight

Hi! My name is Valerie Knight and I am your child's fourth grade teacher. I was born and raised in Mississippi. I graduated from Mississippi College with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I have been teaching at Williams Elementary for 24 years (3rd grade for 5 years, 5th grade for 8 years, and 4th grade now going on my 11th year).
I am a very proud mom of two amazing sons, Dillon (attends Athens State) and Dustin (attends Auburn). They both attended Williams from K through 8th grade. They received an amazing education and are both very academically advanced. They are extremely well rounded and I owe much of it to the love, care, and dedication of each and every teacher they had while attending Williams Elementary and Middle School.
Williams is my "home" away from home. I believe Williams is the best kept secret in Huntsville. We love our students and want the very best for them. I have been blessed to teach at such a wonderful school and be a part of such a caring educating family. I absolutely love what I do and who I do it for (my students). I thank you for sharing your child with me on a daily basis. May this be a fantastic year for all of us!
