Weather Notice

Due to the potential for icy road conditions, Huntsville City Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Wednesday, December 11, 2019. The two-hour delay will also apply to all HCS employees, unless otherwise directed by your supervisor.  All elementary, middle, and junior high classes will begin at 10:00am.  All high school classes will begin at 10:30am.  Buses will also run on a two-hour delayed schedule. 


Huntsville City Schools Weather Safety Team, working in conjunction with the EMA and other local agencies, will continue to monitor conditions and send out updates should any additional changes be necessary.  For more information about the weather safety decision process, please select the more information link below.

National Science Fair

Williams Middle School would like to congratulate 6th Grade AGT students Taleh Fananapazir, Arian Phillips, and 7th Grade AGT student, Harper Baranek for qualifying to compete in the National Science Fair Broadcom. They successfully competed in the school and regional science fair. Only 10% of middle school children in the United States are offered this opportunity. Entries will judged during the summer and 300 top projects will be announced on September 4, 2019. From these Top 300 MASTERS, 30 finalists and one parent/guardian will win an all-expense-paid trip to the national finals in Washington, DC to showcase their projects, compete in teams and visit sites that celebrate innovation through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
