Welcome to GATE! My name is Kelly Dunham. I am a Huntsville native with two daughters and four cats. In my spare time, I enjoy writing music on piano and guitar, photography, exploring, and learning new things. My experience as a former student of gifted programming at HCS inspired me to want to provide the same supportive learning environment that I received for the next generation of students needing the enrichment and social/emotional support that our GATE program provides. I am so encouraged by the fact that Huntsville City Schools uses a school-wide talent development model because we understand that all students are gifted and benefit from enriching experiences. I look forward to getting to know your child and helping them to develop their critical and creative thinking skills! Here's to a great year at GSES!
