Prior to moving to Alabama, I served 13 years as a college professor of public health at the University of Maine at Farmington and the University of Tennessee. Since 2013, I have enjoyed teaching at Huntsville High. I like to introduce students to the interdisciplinary field of health using a variety of perspectives, for example, history, sciences, and psychology. We examine several essential questions related to personal and community health, for example: "Why we are living longer?,"" Why so much change over the past two centuries is best characterized as a "paradox"?; and, "Why the next ten years for a teen will likely determine whether or not they will be free from the disease of addiction? " Nothing is simply more valuable than learning how to maximize your life potential by living "deliberately". I look forward to serving you!
