Dr. Benjamin Brown
Greetings Jaguar Family!!
It is an honor to serve the the faculty, staff, community, administrative team, and most of all our students as Dean of the College Academy at Mae C Jemison High School. We have an amazing school and community. I am originally from Valley, Alabama which is a small city on the Alabama Georgia line. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, traveling, reading and research, and writing. I have three peer-reviewed scholarly research publications on Professional Learning Communities, Leadership Effectiveness, and Project Based/Problem Based Learning. I have presented at state, national, and international conferences. My goal is to travel, write and publish, and present more. I am most excited about working with our community to grow and prepare our scholars for their future!
