Military Family Resources

Welcome to New Century Technology High School, where we love our military-connected families! The Purple Star School program established by Legislature with the passage of Act 2021-7, recognizes the efforts of the K-12 schools in the state that are committed and supportive of military students, and their families, as they transition to their new homes and schools. The Purple Star School program was designed to help mitigate the challenges of high mobility by setting standards for and publicly designating military-friendly schools. This award recognizes schools that show a major commitment to military-connected students and families.  Please check out the useful resources below to help get you acquainted with our programs serving military families here at NCTHS!

Military Family Liaison

S2S (Student-to-Student) Program

Established in 2004, Student 2 Student® (S2S™) is a student program that brings military and civilian students together to welcome new students, create a positive environment, support academic excellence, and ease transitions.

New Century Technology High School is here to support all students, including military-connected students and their families. Our Purple-Up/Purple Star Club is a peer-to-peer support program where we learn, grown, and explore together.

All students are welcome to join Purple-Up, whether they are personally connected to the military, or simply want to be a friend to those students who may be new to our community and need support.

SFC(R) Jerian Graham is the Purple-Up sponsor and can be emailed.

Our club meets on Fridays during advisory (11:55-12:40pm). Any student is welcome to attend.
